As soon as a profile is validated, you will receive a 'Profile validated' email. Please note, that because of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, we do not accept participants from Russia in Matka Travel Fair or Matka Workshop Day for the time being.

If you arrive from outside the Schengen area, please note that it can take up to 8 weeks to get a visa. We recommend to register early enough, and reserve 8 weeks for visa process to avoid cancellations because of not getting a visa on time.

Matka Workshop Day Supplier participation is subject to exhibiting in Matka 2025. If you have not ordered stand and/or Matka Workshop Day participation yet, please contact:

Please also note that your Matka 2025 Workshop Day Supplier badge is valid only on Workshop Day 15 January. To access Matka fair on 16-19 January 2025, you need an exhibitor pass.

If you participated as Buyer in 2024, please ask a personal link to restore your profile from: Mikko Kankaala Please note that if there were several participants under the same company profile, only profile of admin can be restored but more participants can be easily added.

Buyers - company representatives only:

Buyer participation is for tour operators, travel agents, OTAs, distribution channels and MICE operators which are looking for new products and destinations, and are involved in initiating or authorizing purchasing decisions on travel-related products and services, and are potential business partners to participating suppliers. They can register as Buyers free of charge. Travel costs and stay in Helsinki are on participant's own expense, unless participating a hosted buyer programme which is managed by Visit Finland and Finnair and 'by invitation only'.

All registrations are subject to validation. As soon as a profile is validated, you will receive a 'Profile validated' email. Several buyers can be under the same company profile, and you can add a colleague or colleagues when your profile is validated. Last day to enter profiles: 10 January 2025. With your Matka 2025 Workshop Day Buyer badge you have also access to Matka 2025 fair on all days 16-19 January.

Media:

While Matka Workshop Day is for travel industry companies, we also welcome to the event international media from relevant markets representing travel or finance sectors. Media are welcome to observe Matka Workshop Day or book meetings. However, please note that most participants prioritize meetings with buyers and suppliers, and may not have a chance to meet with media representatives during the event. All registrations are subject to validation. As soon as a profile is validated, you will receive a 'Profile validated' email. Last day to enter profiles: 10 January 2025. With your Matka 2025 Workshop Day Media badge you have also access to Matka 2025 fair on all days 16-19 January.

Event Partners:
This category is for Visit Finland's and Finnair's representatives who are hosting a buyer group in Matka, as well as for Helsinki Partners' representatives with no sales table. Last day to enter profiles: 10 January 2025. With your Matka 2025 Workshop Day Event Partner badge you have also access to Matka 2025 fair on all days 16-19 January.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation policy

The exhibitor shall have the right to cancel the participation in Matka Workshop Day within seven (7) days of receiving confirmation from the Organizer. Requests for cancellation of participation must be made in writing.

In case the registration has been made closer than 30 - 8 days before the start of the event, the reservation is binding starting from the day of the registration and the participation fees will be invoiced immediately with a 7-day term of payment. 

In case the registration has been made closer than 7 - 0 days before the start of the event, the reservation is binding starting from the day of the registration and the participation fees will be invoiced and will become due immediately.

If the participation fee has not been paid before the event, the organizer has the right to remove the exhibitor from Matka Workshop Day
